Chart Update: December 2006
Hello again chart watchers
What a shame watching the charts on Top of The Pops or even hearing the complete run down on Sunday afternoon was a must for all pop music fans.
Sadly no more, even the race for the Christmas number is a non starter as whoever wins Pop X-Factor Idol call it what you will, is number one, Most of course never heard of again thank god.
In years to come when reminiscing days gone by ,will todays kids remember the words to 'That's My Goal' or 'A Moment Like This'. Maybe Akon's 'Smack That' and Lazy Town's 'Bing Bang' will bring a smile to some, but give me a zimmer frame I prefer the days when a hit record grew in chart status week by week and so by got inbedded in your brain.
